1 Year!

And he's ONE!

At one year old, Calvin....
-Is 19lbs 10 oz and 30 inches tall
-Sleeps through the night....most of the time
-Has 9 teeth
-Says "Dada" "Go" "Dog"
-Takes 7-8 step, but not yet walking
-Loves riding in his wagon, playing at the park, his slide, tickle time, baths, dancing and playing with balls.

The past 12 months have been challenging, fun, exhausting, full of laughter, enlightening, and the best 12 months of our lives!

This past month was a busy one for Calvin.  He traveled to Indiana, celebrated his first Halloween, attended several birthday parties of his friends, celebrated his birthday twice, and spent a lot of time just having fun.  So, we have lots of pictures to share!

11 Months

The countdown is on!  I will definitely cherish this last month before Calvin turns 1!

Stats - About 19 lbs

Sleep - Calvin continues to sleep through the night.

Eat - Besides learning how to smash food into his ears, his eating habits haven't changed much over the past month.

What's New - This kid loves books, balls and trucks, but his favorite thing to do is watching animal videos on the iPad.  He could watch animal videos for hours!  Calvin can cruise pretty fast when holding onto a toy or furniture, but continues to prefer crawling over walking if he doesn't have anything to hold on to.  He loves crawling around outside and tasting every single rock he can find.

10 Months!

After some technical difficulties and deleted blog posts, I realized that today is my last chance to post before Calvin turns 11 months old!  What better day for a 10 month post!?

Stats - 18 lbs and length is unknown
Sleep - Calvin continues to sleep through the night and takes 2-3 naps a day.
Eat - Although he seems to be a little more selective in what he wants to eat, we've discovered that he just doesn't really like the bland foods typically recommended for babes his age.  The more flavor, the better!  He's doing a great job of feeding himself and he is known as the biggest eater at daycare.
What's New - Calvin's 10th month was full of firsts!  First trip to the beach.  First long, solo weekend with Dad while Mom had a girl's weekend in Chicago.  First time standing with no assistance.  This little guy is crawling full speed and loves climbing on EVERYTHING!
